Tenderfoot Street Water Outages and General Construction Update

Construction & Water Outage Notice 

 The Town of Dillon will begin construction of a new water main that runs through the Town Park from Tenderfoot Street to Buffalo Street.
Tenderfoot Street will be CLOSED to through traffic between E. LaBonte Street and Lake Dillon Drive for approximately 3 days starting on April 2nd, 2018. The water main will tie into an existing main on Buffalo Street where further
traffic control will be implemented in the coming weeks. The water main requires the removal of trees and obstructions, which will be landscaped in the future in accordance with the town park master plan.  


 Planned Water Outages:

Please find attached the proposed water outage plan for the Town Park Water Main Improvements through the town park from Tenderfoot Street to Buffalo Street. This work will start on April 2nd, 2018. Traffic control on Tenderfoot Street will be in effect for approximately 3 days. Access to homes and businesses will be maintained with closure to through traffic along Tenderfoot Street.

Water Outage Timing:

The water on Tenderfoot Street is expected to be shut off between 9 am and 5 pm on the days indicated on the map below.


 Depending on the weather conditions during the construction process the scheduled dates and times are subject to change and therefore will remain tentative. Sidewalk Construction Notice

The Town of Dillon has begun construction of the sidewalk along Lodgepole Street for the new Amphitheater. The intersection of Lake Dillon Drive and Lodgepole Street will be CLOSED to through traffic during the day from April 2nd to April 5th depending on the weather. Expect delays for traffic movement within the town center
