Summit County still hosting event & Frisco rescheduling for June 4

The Towns of Breckenridge, Dillon, and Silverthorne are offering supplies for clean up if community members still would like to pick up trash over the next week. Full town clean up trash bags will be picked up by Town staff in the Towns of Breckenridge, Dillon, and Silverthorne as long as bags are placed on the side of the road by 4:00 pm on Saturday, May 27, 2017. Bags and gloves will be available from Monday through Friday at the following locations:


  • Breckenridge: Public Works Administrative Offices at 1095 Airport Road in Breckenridge
  • Silverthorne: Silverthorne Recreation Center at 430 Rainbow Drive in Silverthorne
  • Dillon: Dillon Town Hall at 275 Lake Dillon Drive in Dillon


Again, Summit County will still be hosting a free electronics, pharmaceutical and household hazardous waste disposal and recycling event on Saturday, May 20 from 8:00 am  - 2:00 pm at the Summit Stage Bus Barn, at 0222 County Shops Road, next to the County Commons in Frisco. The Town of Frisco will now host Town Clean Up Day on Sunday, June 4, 2017 on Frisco Main Street in front of the Frisco Historic Park and Museum. Volunteer check-in will be at 9:00 am and the volunteer appreciation BBQ will begin at 11:30 am.
