For participant safety, tonight’s lighting of Dillon has been postponed to tomorrow evening (Sunday). Summit County Emergency Management is requesting that everyone stay off the roads and give our snowplow operators and emergency vehicles the space they need to work. Stay safe and enjoy the fresh snow.

Mark your calendar it’s the most magical time of year in Dillon as we celebrate the start of the holidays with the Lighting of Dillon and the Holiday Lights Scavenger Hunt.

The Lighting of Dillon returns to Marina Park on Saturday, December 6. The park will be illuminated at 4:45 p.m. followed by a holiday lights scavenger hunt around town.

The scavenger hunt will take participants up through the Dillon Town Core to Town Park and back to Marina Park. Participants will receive a holiday lighting passport to take with them on the scavenger hunt. Visit all seven giant illuminated sculptures for your chance to receive a holiday gift.
