We hope you enjoy the various public parks in the Town of Dillon. All of our Parks are for day use and may be used on a first come first use basis. If you would like to use one of our parks for a family reunion, birthday, wedding or other special event they may be reserved, you can download a Park Reservation Form below. If you are organizing a fund raiser such as a walk or bike ride you may also reserve one of the park facilities but these types of events requires a Special Use Permit (SUP) below. You may call 970-468-2403 to check on availability of the park you would like to reserve and check the fee schedule. Below is a brief description of the parks and additional guidelines for use.

Marina Park Pavilion**

Located on Lodgepole Street at the end of Lake Dillon Drive on the waterfront. The Dillon Marina and the Lake Dillon Amphitheater are adjacent to the park. Parking is available in the lot adjacent to the park. Vehicles are not allowed in the park itself and are subject to ticketing and towing.  

Due to construction the Marina Park Pavilion will be CLOSED FOR THE 2017 SEASON.

 

 

 

 

Marina Park Facilities Include:

  • Covered pavilion with picnic tables (seating for 80-90 people) 
  • Small Playground 
  • Large Charcoal Grill 
  • Electrical Outlets 
  • Potable Water 
  • Small Charcoal Grills 
  • ADA Restroom Facilities

Dillon Town Park Pavilion**

Located behind Town Hall and the Summit Historical Museum on Buffalo Street. Reservations can be made for the youth ball field, which is adjacent to the park. Parking is available in the Town Hall parking lot and also on Buffalo Street. Vehicles are not allowed in the park itself and are subject to ticketing and towing.

 

 

 

 

 

Town Park Facilities Include:

  • Covered pavilion with picnic tables (seating for 40-50 people) 
  • Playground
  • ADA Restroom Facilities 
  • Electrical Outlets
  • Potable Water 
  • Volleyball Pit (Ball Not Provided)
  • Outdoor Basketball Court 
  • Large Charcoal Grill

 ADDITIONAL GUIDELINES FOR PARK RESERVATIONS:

  • The Permittee shall take all reasonable precautions to prevent and suppress forest fires. No material shall be disposed of by burning in fires. The Town of Dillon strictly prohibits open-air fires. 
  • In case of change of address, the Permittee shall immediately notify the Town’s offices at (970) 468-2403, who oversees the park permits. 
  • Alcohol may be consumed in Town parks, and all state liquor laws shall apply. 
  • Alcohol cannot be given or sold to anyone under the age of 21. 
  • No alcohol may be sold without issuance of a Special Events Permit by the Town of Dillon and State of Colorado. 
  • No signs or advertising devices shall be erected or posted on the area covered by this permit, or roads/highways leading thereto. 
  • If you plan to use a catering company for your event at the Pavilions, please have the catering company contact the Town Hall so that the caterers understand park regulations as well. 
  • The Town of Dillon adheres to Leave No Trace for all our Parks. 
  • Payment of the permit fee must be made prior to commencing operations under the terms of this permit. 
  • Fees shall be made payable to the Town of Dillon, and returned with the appropriate permit form to Park Reservations, Town of Dillon, P.O. Box 8, Dillon, CO 80435 or in person at the Dillon Town Hall located at 275 Lake Dillon Drive in Dillon. 
  • Reservation Confirmation and Town of Dillon receipt must be present and available at the event for proof of rental.

Parks are open from sunrise until one hour after sunset.

**Specially noted Parks can be rented in half-day increments: 9am – 2pm and 3pm - 8pm
