Performs a variety of semi-skilled maintenance work and operates a variety of equipment in the construction, operation, repair, maintenance and replacement of Town water, sewer, street, storm drainage, parks, buildings and cemetery systems.
- Graduation from high school or GED equivalent.
- 2 years of experience relating to construction, maintenance, or repair.
- Considerable knowledge of equipment, facilities, materials, methods and procedures used in maintenance, construction and repair activities.
- Skill in operation of some of the listed tools and equipment.
- Ability to perform heavy manual tasks for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work safely.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other departments and the public.
- Ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions.

As a team member at the Dillon Marina your well-rounded responsibilities will include: booking boat rental, sailing school and tour reservations, performing boat operation orientations, boat refueling and daily maintenance, boat inspections at the launch ramp, retail sales and inventory, daily sales reconciliation, general office duties, upkeep of marina store, rental dock and grounds, event planning and more! Experience in the Microsoft suite, Point of Sale and QuickBooks software strongly preferred. Sailing experience helpful, and a whiz with all social media platforms a huge plus! Mandatory Requirements: Valid Colorado driver’s license. The ability to work weekends and holidays throughout the summer season. The availability to attend ANS boat inspection training on May 15th-16th and staff training May 21st - May 25th.

The Dillon Marina, located in beautiful Summit County, Colorado is looking for a sailing instructor for the 2018 summer season. If high-altitude, lake sailing with gorgeous mountain back-drops is on your list, and you can offer a superior level of customer service and patience to students 18 year and older, we would like to hear from you.
Our sailing school offers Basic Keelboat courses as well as private lessons and sailing tours across the beautiful waters of Lake Dillon. Opportunities available for both full time and part time positions. A set schedule including weekends and holidays is required, from mid-May through September. Opportunities for commissioning and decommissioning of customer vessels is available depending on experience.
Requirements: Must possess superior boat handling skills, be able to teach both classroom and on-water courses and be a strong swimmer. Certified ASA or USSA instructor certification as well as rigging experience preferred. Compensation DOE.
